Biblie Terms of Use

These Terms of Use govern access to Biblie, an application for Bible reading, spiritual journaling, reflections, conversations, and personalized content. Please also read the Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data is processed.

1. Acceptance and usage requirements

By using Biblie, you agree to comply with these Terms and applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the application. Specific features may require an account, device permissions, or an active subscription.

Registration offers age ranges starting at 13 years old. Biblie is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 18, use the application with the knowledge and guidance of your parent or legal guardian. The guardian must supervise the use and purchases made by minors under their responsibility.

2. Account and security

To create an account or sign in, you provide an email address and receive an access code. You must use an email address to which you have legitimate access, keep your information reasonably up to date, and protect your device and the codes you receive. Do not share access codes or use another person's account without authorization.

Notify us through the contact channel if you suspect unauthorized access. We may take proportionate measures to protect the account and the service, including temporarily blocking a session or requesting new authentication.

3. Available features

Biblie offers free features and may offer Premium features, subject to the conditions shown in the application. Some features use an internet connection or depend on third-party services. Artificial intelligence (AI) features require the privacy choice presented in the app; if you do not accept it or later withdraw it, those features will be unavailable.

We may fix issues, update content, and modify features to improve or maintain the service. Material changes affecting an active subscription will be communicated when required by law or store rules. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or an error-free service, but we work to keep the service functional and secure.

4. Spiritual content and AI responses

Biblie's readings, prayers, devotionals, and responses are intended to provide information and support personal reflection. Some of this content may be generated by AI and may contain inaccuracies. You should evaluate responses before making decisions based on them.

Biblie does not provide medical, psychological, legal, or financial services or individual pastoral counseling. In an emergency or a situation involving immediate risk, contact emergency services and qualified professionals. Using the application does not establish a professional care or counseling relationship.

5. Content you submit

You may record text, audio for transcription, responses, notes, and messages. You retain the rights you hold in the content you create. By submitting it, you authorize Biblie and the service providers required for its operation to store, process, technically reproduce, and display that content in order to provide the requested features, in accordance with the Privacy Policy and your consent choices.

You are responsible for the content you submit and must respect the rights and privacy of others. Do not include third-party information without authorization or another legitimate basis. The sharing feature uses your device's mechanisms; review the content and recipient before sharing.

You may not use Biblie to violate the law, threaten or harass others, exploit vulnerabilities, access third-party data, automate abusive access, distribute malicious code, or attempt to compromise the security of the service. We may remove content or restrict access when necessary to address these situations, subject to applicable rights.

6. Subscriptions, trials, and payments

Biblie may offer monthly or annual Premium subscriptions and, for eligible users, a trial period. The price, currency, duration, eligibility, benefits, and date of the first charge are those displayed in the offer and in the Apple App Store or Google Play confirmation at the time of purchase. A trial offer is not guaranteed for every user.

If the offer states that it renews automatically, the subscription will renew and be charged by the store at the end of each period, including after a free trial, unless canceled within the period specified by the store. Review the conditions displayed by the store before confirming. Biblie does not receive your complete payment card information.

You can manage or cancel your subscription in the App Store or Google Play settings, depending on where you purchased it. Uninstalling the application or deleting your Biblie account does not automatically cancel a store subscription. After cancellation, paid access will normally remain available until the end of the period already purchased, subject to store conditions and applicable law. The app provides an option to restore purchases when permitted by the store and the account used.

Refund requests and the exercise of withdrawal rights, where applicable, follow consumer protection law and the procedures of the store through which the purchase was made. If you need help identifying a charge or restoring access, contact us.

7. Rights in the application and content

The software, the Biblie brand, the interface, and the content created for the application belong to EFICE SOLUCOES LTDA or their respective owners and are protected by applicable law. Biblical texts and other third-party materials remain subject to the rights and licenses of their owners.

We grant you a personal, limited, non-exclusive, and revocable license to use the application in accordance with these Terms. This license does not authorize you to copy the application, commercially exploit its content, circumvent access limits, or remove ownership notices, except where permitted by law or a specific license.

8. Suspension and termination

You may stop using Biblie at any time and request account deletion through the application. Data deletion follows the Privacy Policy and does not replace the cancellation of any store subscription.

We may suspend or terminate access in the event of a serious violation of these Terms, fraud, a security risk, or a legal requirement. When appropriate, we will explain the reason and provide a contact method. Suspension does not affect any rights you may have as a consumer.

9. Liability and applicable law

We make reasonable efforts to keep Biblie operating. Our liability for service failures and damages will be determined under applicable law, including the Brazilian Consumer Protection Code. Nothing in these Terms excludes rights that cannot be waived by contract.

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. Any disputes may be submitted to consumer protection agencies or the court with proper jurisdiction, subject to legal jurisdiction rules and consumer rights.

10. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the application or the law. The current version will show the date it was last updated. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate channel; when necessary, we will request your renewed agreement.
